 1.What are the examples of Banding Patterns?
   ~ The examples of Bandaging Patterns are the simple spiral, figure eight, figure (8) eight spiral, triangular bandage for hand injuries,chest, and upper limb.

2. When do you apply bandaging?
   ~ Bandaging is another home treatment a home nurse should administer to the patient. Bandaging  can be used for binding up wounds or other injuries and controlling bleeding in a particular area.

3. Where can bandaging be done?
   ~ Bandaging can be done anywhere as long as you have the complete materials that you needed for you bandaging process with the help of a home nurse or a care giver.

4. Why do we need to learn how to apply Bandaging?
  ~We need to learn how to apply bandaging so that if an emergency happen in your house or anywhere you are right now. Maybe to your friend or to anyone, you can help them by doing and applying what you learn like how to do first aid, health care and bandaging to a patient.

5. How apply simple steps in bandaging?
 ~First step: Hold the bandage with the roll uppermost & start to roll around the wound upwards. For every turn, use a firm even pressure.
   Second step: With each turn, cover two-thirds of the width of the previous one. Avoid covering the tips of the finger and toes. Fasten the bandage with a small safety pin or a bandage clip.

Making the Bed & Bathing the Patient :D

Making a Bed
1. Why do we need to know how to make an unoccupied and occupied bed?
We know how to make an unoccupied and occupied bed to let the patient know whether the bed is now occupied by someone else or not.

2. How does making a bed help in the fast recovery of our patient?
It can help the patient to be more comfortable enough. And that can help the patient to recover faster for her illness.

3. As a good home nurse, how will you be able to render your services to your patient through bed making?
By cleaning, changing the proper sheet so that the patient can be more comfortable enough.

 Bathing the Patient
1. Why do you need to give a bath to the patient?
The home nurse must bathe the patients always to  avoid catching the cold, pneumonia, or anything that may worsen the patients condition.
 
2. What are the materials needed for bed bath or sponge bath?
 Materials needed for Sponge bath or Bed bath:
-2 Small and Big towel    -Soap and Light Blanket
-Rubber Sheet                   -Basin with warm water

3. What’s the importance of using a urinal or bedpan?
A Urinal and Bedpan is important if the patient is expected to remain bedridden for a long period of time.

4. What do you mean by back rub?
Back rub is given to the patients who wants to re-freshen themselves.

5. How do you differentiate cold compress from hot compress?
Cold Compress-an absorbent cloth is dipped in a cold water, wrung out and applied it into the body of the patient to relieved the pain or reduced inflammation or used as  comfort measure.
Hot Compress-application of heat to a small area of the hot compress cloth. Hot compress can increase circulation locally. It relieves pain and congestion of the patient.

Home Nursing Techniques; Signs & Symptoms of Illnesses & Diseases

1.  If you are a good home nurse, what are the various home nursing techniques that you need to apply that will make the patient feel comfortable and speed up the recovery?
    As being a home nursing, I will apply the proper techniques like bathing the patient, making the occupied bed for the patient, and also checking the vital signs of the patient. Those are just some of the techniques that I can apply to my patients to make them feel comfortable as a Home nurse.  

2.  Why should the home nurse monitor the vital signs of the patient?
    One way of taking care of your patients, monitoring the vital signs of the patient. Vital signs like temperature, pulse rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure rate. Monitoring the vital signs of the patient is important because in that way you will know if the patient is starting to heal or if he/she needs imporatnt medication from the doctor.

3.  How do you take the body temperature, pulse rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure of the patient?
    BODY TEMPERATURE
-Using the thermometer, you can monitor the temperature of the patient. It is the most accurate way to determine whether the patient has high fever, or has a normal body temperature
    PULSE RATE 
-Using the tip of your two finger by putting it in your wrist, you can monitor the heartbeat of your patient. Taking the pulse rate in the wrist is one of the convenient way to monitor the pulse rate of the patient.
    RESPIRATORY RATE
-Using the stethoscope, you can check and monitor the respiratory rate of your patient.

4.  What are some practices that the home nurse must follow that will promote comfort to the patient?
-There are so many ways how to lessen and easing the patient's discomfort. Ways like changing the position of the patient, helping the patient to lie down or sit up, supporting the patient with pillow, attending to his/her personal needs, helping him/her to dress up. Those are just some ways to make the patient comfortable and to lessen their discomforts.

5.  How will you differentiate signs from symptoms of illnesses and diseases?
     The signs, those are just what the doctors see when your about to have a illness or sickness. Symptoms, they say that symptoms are just experiences for the patients who already experiences illness and diseases.

6.  If you are the doctor, what will be your basis in giving the diagnosis for your patient?
    As a doctor , before giving the patient their proper diagnose you must check first their health. Because being a doctor you mustn't give an diagnose to a patient without checking his/her health.

Administering of Medicines to the Patient :D

1. What significant insights have you learned from the topic?
    I learned that health care to an individual is a very important, because in doing the health care services you'll be more responsible in taking care of the patients. Because being a Home nurse, you can use what you learn when your in times of needed. One of the important things you will learn of being a home nurse is to give a proper medicine to the patient. You will learn how to give the proper medicine that is suited to the illness of the patient, how to know if the medicine is expired an many more. Cause being a Home nurse, one of the important things that you mustn't forget is to know the proper ways of giving the proper medicine to the patient.

2. How does proper administering of medicines help our patients in their recovery?
    Proper administrating of medicine help our patients in their recovery by giving them proper medicines that is suited for their illness. Giving the proper medicine in the proper time by making a record in every time you give the patients their medicines. Give the patient the medicine that the doctor prescribe them to take in before taking the medicine.

Recycled Craft Project :33

       In the Recycled Craft Project, I find it enjoying at the same time it's fun. :D In time while where making the Recycled Craft, one thing that I'll never forget is that all of us are doing the project but still at the same time we still have fun like laughing and telling jokes... And also even though sometimes we  have a miss understanding, all of us still works together as a team.

       Before we make our Recycled Craft, all of us talks for some suggestions and plans. How will we make it? Who will bring the materials and many more... And in the end, it turns out that our project really works out and it's nice.. So, what will I really miss about doing the project is that even though all of us is seriously doing the Recycled Craft, we still have fun, joking around and enjoying things that we do. That's my Experience about the Recycled Craft!!! :DDD
